Once your physician completes your review, SafeGard sends your recommendations and accompanying prescriptions directly to the pharmacy you selected during your intake.
This usually happens on the same day you receive your Travel Report by email.
What to expect
After your recommendations are sent, the pharmacy should reach out within 48 hours to schedule your vaccine appointment and prepare your medications.
If you haven’t heard from the pharmacy within two business days — or if you call and they say they don’t have your recommendations — follow these steps:
Ask to speak directly with the pharmacist.
In many pharmacies, the recommendations arrive in the pharmacist’s secure inbox and must be manually reviewed before being entered into their system.
Pharmacy technicians may not be able to access this inbox, which can make it seem as though your records aren’t there yet.
Confirm the exact pharmacy location you entered during your intake.
Your recommendations are sent to the specific site you selected—often a single store location or store number (e.g., Costco #123).
If the pharmacist still can’t locate your recommendations, contact SafeGard support.
We can resend your prescriptions immediately and confirm that your pharmacy has received them.
